Color Consulting Services
Let’s Get Started!
Your color consultation starts before we even get together. We’ll chat in advance via phone about your project needs, and I’ll send you a questionnaire to be completed before our meeting. Touching base beforehand will allow us to make the best use of our time together when we meet in your home.
Let’s Meet!
In your home we’ll review your space and your color goals. I’ll come prepared with fan decks and my color tools, including over 250 large painted board samples. Together we will discuss the look and feel you want for your home, consider fixed elements and decor, and view color options that will work in your space.
Initial Color Consult – $150
The Initial Color Consult is booked for up to 1 1/2 hours in-home. We’ll discuss your project color goals and start at the top of your priority list to identify the best colors and/or palette to give you the look and feel you want for your home. Depending on your needs, the Initial Color Consult may be all that you need. Larger projects may require additional time. Subsequent additional consult time can be scheduled at an hourly service rate of $100.
Sample Service (Skip the trips and the drips!) – $50 min. (plus cost of paint samples)
Did we identify some paint colors you need to sample? If you’d like to skip the trip to the paint store and save the time and hassle of preparing painted color boards yourself, this service might be for you! I’ll do the dirty work for you… ($50 minimum service fee includes 1 painted sample board per color (up to 4 colors). Additional sample colors, ordered at the same time, are $6/ea. Receipt will be provided for reimbursement of paint purchased.)
Styling and Decorating Services
Let’s Decorate!
Do you need help decorating, but hiring an expensive or big name Interior Designer just seems like “too much” for what it is you need? Maybe you’re just sick of looking at messy bookshelves, empty built-ins, or a cluttered mantle or coffee table, and need some styling help? Maybe you need someone to shop for you and bring some decor options, like lamps or pillows, to your home for you to choose from? Perhaps you need some advice on where and how to hang your artwork, or you have some special items you’d like to work into your home decor, but are falling short in making it work? Sometimes you just need someone to come in, help you make some decisions, and put the finishing touches on a space! I’ll help you get these projects checked off your list!
Decorating and Styling Consultations – $100/hr.
Decorating and styling consultations will be tailored to fit your particular decorating needs.
“Decor at Your Door” Service
Have some special items to display, but not enough decorative pieces to completely style your built-ins? Do you just want to get them looking finished and decorated? With the Decor at Your Door Service, I’ll shop for you and bring a selection of decor options to your home. We’ll use what you have, and work in some newly acquired pieces to get the best results to give you the look and feel you want. You choose and pay for what you want to keep, and I will return any unwanted/unused pieces for you!
For efficiency, and ease of purchase/returns, items purchased for this service are currently only made at local retailers.
Staging Services
Occupied Home Staging Service – $400
Are you or your client preparing to sell a home? It is said that staging can increase a home’s selling price and the likelihood it will sell quickly. Sellers who are occupying the home have the option to use the home’s current furnishings when staging the home for sale. As part of my occupied staging services, I create for the homeowner a detailed room-by-room list of items to complete in order to best showcase their house. During a walk-through, and outlined in the final report, we discuss the placement and editing of furnishings and decor, as well as simple updates and changes that will help you appeal to the most potential buyers.
This service includes a walk through of the home with the seller and/or the seller’s Realtor and a final typed report/checklist to guide the homeowner.
